Transformative Art

For many years, I painted quietly. I created for myself.  I would finish a piece, stack it in a pile, and move on to the next. 

Then something shifted.

I began to feel that this work, born from such honest places, shouldn't remain hidden. The colors, the forms, the emotions—they’re not just mine anymore. I believe art has the power to connect, to speak across silence, to comfort, to heal. And if my work has brought me that kind of peace and clarity, maybe it can do the same for someone else. So I’m sharing it now. 

I find inspiration in so many places... My kids, teaching, nature... but I've noticed that I most often am channeling the energy that I feel at Phish and Dead shows.  This is my 30th year going to shows and I had a great time passing out prints at the Madison and Deer Creek shows.
